Our tagline tries to encapsulate how we feel about the woods:
For Nature – we would like the woods to be a haven for nature in all its forms. We’ll try to provide appropriate habitat for rare plants and animals such as the twinflower and the pine hoverfly as well as the frequently occurring ones such as Scots pine and blaeberry.
For Nurture – we would like the woods to be a place of nurture, for plants and animals, and as importantly for the local community and visitors from around the world.
For Everyone – we would like the woods to be available for everyone, regardless of age and ability. We hope that all users of the woods enjoy every visit, whilst of course respecting the enjoyment of other users of the woods.
